Community Partnership

CrowdGuard Community Partnerships aim to promote safe environments for everyone. Participating communities are trusted networks of people which comply with legal obligations and take voluntary efforts to reduce discrimination and harassment. Community partners implement, communicate and enforce anti-harassment and equal opportunity policies, and pledge to help and solidarity with those in need. We are currently inviting early adapter communities in India to join as CrowdGuard Community Partner.

Partnership eligibility

Your community is committed to maintain an inclusive and safe environment, free from behaviours, practices and processes that constitute sexual and gender based harassment and other forms of discrimination.

Your community follows good governance practises, takes preventive measures such as promoting and enforcing a comprehensive anti-harassment and equal opportunity policy, and treats any harassment or discrimination incident unbiased, just and prompt. If you already have a policy implemented, we’ll assess it and suggest improvements if required. If you haven’t implemented any policy yet, provide you with tools and resources for compliance. Please acknowledge that CrowdGuard Community Partnership is only awarded to compliant communities, and may be withdrawn unilaterally.

Your benefits

We provide you with tools and resources to implement a comprehensive equal opportunity policy and improve your good governance practises.

You receive custom access to the CrowdGuard app backend to administer your community members (currently limited to Android OS phone users). They can affiliate with your community and provide other community members first-response and post-care assistance if an incident arises. Periodically we provide you with community safety reports about the safety perception and level of your members.

You will be featured on the CrowdGuard app, website and communication collateral as official Community Partner in the service of women empowerment and freedom. Whereas the CrowdGuard app itself contains a condensed tutorial on effective bystander intervention, we’ll provide selected communities with a training session for its members.
